Doubl-Kold Inc is a major industrial refrigeration company in Washington State, whose success to date is the result of innovative, excellent engineering, high quality workmanship, and a desire to be “the best” at treating its customers right. Doubl-Kold is one of the foremost designers and manufactures of high quality industrial refrigeration, for the fruit and food industries, and industrial refrigeration users throughout the world.
You would expect such a company to recognize craftsmanship in related trades and when building their new facility, to seek these out. We have long worked side-by-side with Doubl-Kold and were delighted to be their choice of HVAC mechanical contractor.
Let us show you some of the work we performed for them in the photos below, beginning with one of the mechanical room.
One of 10 systems installed, the photo to the right is typical of two system in the up-flow configuration. Utilizing high efficiency Carrier gas furnaces and air conditioners. The system includes a fully integrated fresh air economizer for free cooling during moderate to low outdoor ambient temperatures. Our typical special care was given to be sure of the following features.
-All fittings, duct-work and piping are plumb and true.
-Clean simple routing lines for duct-work & piping.
-Service access doors are clear of obstructions.
-Custom filters and filter access are installed.
-Service manuals are with the equipment.
-Top quality materials and products are used.
-The systems are clean and free of debris.
-Seams are matched, tight and clean.
Duct-work is free of hammer tracks, dents & creases.
Truly workman like craftsmanship is provided.
Piping and wiring to these complex systems can easily become a cluttered mess similar to a birds nest, making service difficult and the presentation unprofessional. While we pride ourselves in making systems that truly work, we also let our pride show in the presentable, clean methods we use to route and install piping and wiring.
Note the LACK of the following.
-No excessive pipe dope.
-No PVC glue stains.
-No dangling wires.
-No grime, marks or dirt.
-No kinks, pinches or stretching of connections.
All our seams are tight and well fitted with "best practices" used. Note these S-Hook drive-cleat seams. Excessive tabs were removed and corners clipped to ensure they would lay flat, not curling on the corners or gaping open. Screws and tape were not required to be sure the seams were good. No gaps or holes are to be found. Edges and seam are straight and true.
