Pacific Power $1,250 Incentive

Pacific Power Incentive

When you purchase qualifying heat pump equipment from us, Pacific Power will gladly send you a check for up to $1,250. Their incentive is to help you buy high efficiency heat pumps that will in the long run save more money. Pacific Power has published such equipment can save you an annual average of 200 KWH with these types of systems, reducing your carbon footprint by about 360 pounds.

Heat pumps must meet or exceed the following:

• 9.0 HSPF
• Replace electric only heating, such as a furnace, baseboard or electric wall or ceiling heat

A lesser incentive of $150 is available for heat pump to heat pump conversions:

• Conversion must meet the same 9.0 HSPF to qualify

PSE Offering Up to $1,500 in Rebates

Puget Sound Energy Incentive

Forced-air furnace rebate for natural gas customers
Receive a $350 rebate from PSE when you purchase an AHRI Certified or ENERGY STAR qualified high-efficiency natural gas forced-air furnace for your home.

How to Qualify:
To be eligible for PSE’s forced-air furnace rebate:
• You must be a current PSE residential natural gas customer.
• You must install an AHRI Certified or ENERGY STAR qualified natural gas furnace with an AFUE of 95% or higher.
• This rebate is only available on new, qualifying equipment.
• Your forced-air furnace must be your primary source of space heating. If your furnace is installed with a new or existing heat pump, you are not eligible for this rebate.

Air-source heat pump rebate for electric customers
Receive either a $350 or $800 rebate from PSE when you upgrade to a qualifying energy efficient air-source heat pump.

How to Qualify:
To be eligible for PSE’s air-source heat pump rebate:
• You must be a current PSE residential electric customer.
• Your heat pump system must be AHRI Certified with a 9.0 HSPF/14 SEER rating or better.
- Heat pumps with a 9.0 HSPF/14 SEER rating are eligible for a rebate of $350.
- Heat pumps with a 10.0 HSPF/16 SEER rating are eligible for a rebate of $800.
• This rebate is only available on new, qualifying equipment.
• Propane or natural gas furnaces that have been installed as auxiliary heat are not eligible for an additional rebate.

Forced-air furnace to air-source heat pump conversion rebate for electric customers
Receive a $1,500 rebate from PSE when y0u replace your electric forced-air furnace with a qualifying energy-efficient air-source heat pump.

How to Qualify:
To be eligible for PSE’s forced-air furnace to air-source heat pump conversion rebate:
• You must be a current PSE residential electric customer.
• You must use an existing electric forced-air furnace as your primary source of space heating.
• You must upgrade to an air-source heat pump system that is AHRI Certified with an 8.5 HSPF/14 SEER rating or better.
• This rebate is only available on new, qualifying equipment.
• If you have an existing gas furnace or broiler, you are not eligible for this rebate.

CNG $250 Cash Back

Cascade Natural Gas Conservation Incentive Program

For 95% AFUE or greater gas furnaces, Cascade Natural Gas will give you $250 in return when you install a new gas furnace. To qualify, you must meet the following items:
• Fuel for primary heating must be provided by Cascade Natural Gas
• You cannot use a heat pump with the system for heating or cooling.
• It must be installed by a Washington-licensed contractor.
• Furnaces 95% AFUE or over qualify for a $250 incentive.
• A water heater must be 0.67 EF or greater for a $45 incentive.
• A tankless water heater must be a condensing unit with a 0.91 EF or greater for a $150 incentive.

Ellensburg Incentive

The City of Ellensburg Natural Gas Rebate Programs

The City of Ellensburg is offering incentives on the installation of gas furnaces for both homeowners and businesses.

2017 Residential Natural Gas Rebate Specifications for Fuel Switching Appliances:
• $1,350 or $2,000 rebate for switching from electric baseboard heat to a natural gas furnace with an AFUE of 90% or higher
• $800 rebate for switching from an electric forced air furnace to a natural gas furnace with an AFUE of 90% or higher
• Cannot be combined with a heat pump system
• The existing electric or propane heating system must be uninstalled.

2017 Residential Natural Gas Rebate Specifications for Upgrading Appliances:
• $600 rebate for upgrading any existing 80% AFUE or lower natural gas heating system to a natural gas furnace with an AFUE of 95% or higher
• Cannot be combined with a heat pump system
• The existing gas heating system must be uninstalled.

• $1,600 rebate for installation of a gas furnace with an AFUE of 95% or higher
